Use and transmission of your personal data
How long your data is stored
If you post a comment, the comment and its metadata are stored indefinitely. This allows subsequent comments to be recognised and approved automatically instead of being placed in the moderation queue.
For users who register with our site (where possible), we also store the personal data provided in their profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information (other than their username) at any time. The site’s managers can also view and edit this information.
Your rights regarding your data
If you have an account, or have posted comments on the site, you can request a file containing all the personal data we hold on you, including data you have supplied to us. You can also request the deletion of personal data relating to you. This does not include data stored for administrative, legal or security reasons.
Sharing of your personal data
Visitors’ comments may be verified using an automated spam detection service.
